PDC FAQs

What is the Player Development Center (PDC)?
The Player Development Center (PDC) is designed to make high-quality soccer training accessible and affordable for all young players. Our mission is to develop intelligent, creative soccer players by offering multiple training locations across the greater Charlotte area. We strive to make soccer more accessible, reducing costs while maintaining the highest training standards.

How many nights a week is training?
Players have the flexibility to attend as many sessions as they like. Initially, we offer 2-3 training sessions per week, plus a Saturday morning game day. This allows your child to train or play up to 4 times a week.

Is the PDC a soccer club?
No, the PDC is not a soccer club. We do not enter leagues or compete with local clubs. Instead, we focus on providing top-notch training, complementing any club your player may already be part of. Our coaches are dedicated to helping players grow and develop their skills, regardless of their club affiliation.

Do I have to attend all the sessions?
No, attendance is flexible. Your player can attend as many or as few sessions as you wish. Our program is designed to fit busy schedules, and players will never be penalized for missing a session.

How are the sessions designed?
Our sessions focus on three key components:

  1. Technical Skill Development: Building a strong technical foundation for every player.

  2. Love for the Game: Fostering a deep love and passion for soccer.

  3. Community Building: Creating a supportive community where players encourage each other to improve. Our curriculum goes beyond technical skills, emphasizing personal growth and teamwork.

Is there a tryout to join the program?
No, there are no tryouts. We believe every child should have access to quality coaching, regardless of their skill level. Our sessions are designed to cater to all players, from beginners to those with years of experience. The focus is on having fun and learning.

Does the price vary depending on the number of sessions my player attends?
No, our pricing is subscription-based and remains consistent regardless of the number of sessions attended. We encourage you to take full advantage of the program and attend as many sessions as possible.

Does my player have to wear the uniform to each session?
While we encourage players to wear the Cappelli uniform, it is not mandatory. Our priority is player development, not enforcing a dress code.

Can I purchase an extra uniform?
Yes, you can purchase additional uniforms by emailing us at info@charlottesoccerfactory.com or clicking here for our team store.

What should my player wear to training?
We recommend wearing the CSF training kit, but comfortable soccer attire is acceptable. For outdoor sessions, cleats are recommended. For indoor/futsal sessions, indoor soccer shoes are required as cleats are not allowed.

What are the benefits of the program?
Our program offers high-quality soccer training at an affordable price, with access to multiple locations at no extra cost. We focus on developing intelligent, creative, and supportive soccer players.

How can I see session updates?
Session updates are available through the GoMotion app, where you can view all scheduled sessions.

How long does my subscription last?
Your subscription continues until you choose to cancel it or your player ages out of the program.

How do I cancel my subscription?
